TUTKI-KOKEILE-KEHITÄ (RESEARCH-EXPERIMENT-DEVELOPE) – a national science contest for children and young

Tutki-Kokeile-Kehitä is a Finnish science and technology competition for young people from 6 to 20 years old. It aims to arouse, foster and support children’s and adolescents’ interest in science and technology. Contestants may choose their disciplines or subjects freely. The topic of the submission is unrestricted as well.

The competition is held yearly and the winners of the different age groups are pronounced in the beginnig of April. The total sum of monetary prizes is more than 10 000 euro.  The Finnish representatives to EU Contest for Young Scientist (EUCYS) and to International Science and Engineering Fair  (Intel ISEF) are selected on the base of the Tutki-Kokeile-Kehitä -contest.

The organizers of the contest are Kerhokeskus and Academic Engineers and Architects in Finland (TEK).
